Happy international happiness day! What better day than to share with you that today I followed up with my doctor, as many of you know I had a depressive episode in October & November.
I changed medications, worked with a psychologist, went into hermit mode and did a lot of growth work, recommitting to all of the things that make me happy and defending my time to do them. ✔️ In the second pic is my depression questionnaire today, showing how much better I am :-). I also am beginning to titrate down on my SSRI. Carefully, of course ! Depression can strike anyone including super positive life coaches like me! There is no shame in it and it does NOT mean you were doing something “wrong” in your life💜! Depression is about taking a step back from the world, growing massively and refocusing on doing all of the right things for your mind, soul and body. ✌️ Depression is in fact, one of the greatest leaps you will make toward a happy life 😊 it sounds counterintuitive but it is a catalyst for BIG change. 🌈
